ABOUT CIRCLE MACHINE RECORDS

Circle Machine is a division of Johann's Face Records. Founded in 2005, Circle Machine is a Chicago based label. Circle Machine exists to fill a void in the pretentious musical hierarchy of underground music by releasing music that stands clear of folded arms and heavy feet.

Circle Machine is the brain child of Kenneth Zawacki (Far Rad/Ghost Arcade). After forming the band Far Rad with musical virtuoso Michael Perkins, Michael introduced Kenneth to Marc Ruvolo (founder Johann's Face Records). Marc became immediately intrigued about the idea of starting a division of Johann's Face, that explored the current state of electronic and experimental music. Thus, Circle Machine was born.

Circle Machine is an outlet for an eclectic range of musical projects. We will showcase local and international releases that we feel deserve a wider audience. These releases will drill your brain and contort your body, an indelible mark of a Circle Machine record. Thank you.
